The National Institute of Immunology (NII) is inviting applications for a Research Associate-I position for a time-bound sponsored project. NII is a premier research institute engaged in cutting-edge research in the field of immunology and related disciplines.

Project Name & Duration: “Regulation of neurodegeneration by non-coding RNA” funded by DBT

Educational Qualifications: Ph.D in Biotechnology/Biophysics/Biochemistry/Life Sciences or any other related field.
Job Description: The selected candidate should have experience in Molecular Biology, recombinant DNA, and protein chemistry. Proficiency in handling mammalian cell lines and cell culture techniques is required. Candidates with additional experience in live cell and confocal microscopy, proteomics, primary neuronal cultures, and animal handling are encouraged to apply.
Emoluments: Rs. 47,000/- per month plus 24% HRA (As per DST OM dated 30.01.2019).
General Terms & Conditions:
- The selected candidates will be on a contract for one year or for the duration of the project, whichever is shorter.
- No hostel/housing facility will be provided.
- Applicants must mention their category (SC/ST/OBC/PH) and provide documentary proof.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- In addition to the application in the prescribed format, candidates should send a complete Curriculum Vitae (CV) with the names of three referees. The CV should include details of experimental expertise and a list of publications.
