Role Summary:
ConcertAI is seeking a Clinical Analytics Consultant to join the Product Success organization. In this role, you will collaborate with the Strategic Data Science team to build data pipelines, support the implementation of real-world data products, and enhance clinical cloud capabilities. As a consultant, you will provide strategic guidance for pharmaceutical and biotechnology partnership requests related to real-world data consultation, fueled platforms, and analytic services. Your expertise and contribution will ensure that CAI’s experts are leveraged efficiently, and optimal value is realized from CAI products.
Responsibilities:
- Support broader Customer/Product Success: Strategic Data Sciences team in establishing and maintaining key partner stakeholder relationships at the largest pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, with particular focus in clinicogenomic/clinicomolecular data
- Support internal efforts in biomarker (molecular pathology) data model development alongside the Biomarkers Enhancement and Engagement team
- Conduct product analytics, measure data quality metrics, and maintain thorough documentation
- Scale existing business analytics logic into reusable data assets for downstream technology solutions
- Deploy solutions for Customer Success to best answer client business requirements related to CAI data, technology, analytics, and outcomes studies
- Be a technical liaison between Customer Success client-facing teams and CAI Data Operations, Cloud Operations, and Informatics teams to harmonize the data pipeline across the enterprise
- Apply and evangelize software development processes to analytics workflows
- Collaborate with business development and customer success to expand accounts and to meet internal business unit metrics
- Assist CAI business units with coordinating delivery schedules and strategically enhance products for optimal integration into partner workflows
Requirements:
- PhD and/or Master’s degree, or an equivalent duration of professional experience in a quantitative field such as computational biology, bioinformatics, health informatics, clinical data science, genetics or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in life sciences or biotech in a Data Science/Clinical data analyst role
- Solid knowledge of genetics, molecular biology, and sequencing technologies
- Experience with NGS data analysis
- Experience with clinical data, electronic health records (EHR), and real-world data (RWD)
- Working knowledge of Python or R, and SQL
- Working knowledge of Git/GitHub
- Excellent communication skills and ability to “translate” complex analytical methods into layman’s terms
- Excellent time management skills: prioritizing across competing timelines, contributing to multiple projects, and updating team members on deliverable expectations
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn and share skills
- Comfortable with ambiguity and flexibility
- Excellent listener and strategic independent thinker
Qualifications that would be a plus:
- Professional experience using dbt (data build tool)
- Experience supporting real-world data (RWD) client projects
- SaaS experience and development of SaaS metrics
- Agile development experience
- Oncology experience
