About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and meticulous Data Quality Specialist to join our Data Delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality biomedical data and optimizing the QA process for our data product offerings. You will have the opportunity to introduce technology-enabled improvements to enhance team efficiency and streamline processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Strict adherence to defined standards for data deliveries
- Reporting discrepancies or irregularities promptly
- Developing and executing comprehensive test plans
- Defining a robust Data QA process
- Exploring opportunities to improve QA process efficiency
- Automating majority of quality checks over time
Qualifications
Must Haves:
- Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or related field
- Strong understanding of Biomedical data
- Ability to read and interpret biomedical research papers
- Ability to understand preclinical drug discovery use cases
- Programming skills (preferably Python/R)
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Haves:
- Prior experience in Software and/or Data Quality Assurance
- Understanding of Omics and non-Omics data
