Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Bioinformatics Specialist in Bengaluru. The Bioinformatics Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks involving data analysis, research, and bioinformatics.
Qualifications
- Sequencing skills: experience with NGS platforms such as Nanopore and Illumina
- Statistics skills: knowledge of statistical analysis methods used in genomics research
- Data Analysis skills: proficiency in various data analysis software tools such as Genomics analysis, R and Unix scripting
- Research skills: experience in designing and conducting experiments, analysis and documentation
- Bioinformatics skills: knowledge of bioinformatics tools and databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Master’s degree or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biology, or related field
- Experience in genomics research is a plus
