Senior Research Fellowship at Jawaharlal Nehru University
Jawaharlal Nehru University, School of Life Science invites applications for the position of Senior Research Fellowship for the project titled “Mechanism of phosphatidylinositol-4 kinase gamma 7 (PI4Kγ7) mediated regulation of geminivirus pathogenesis”. This is a temporary position that is co-terminus with the project and the appointed person will be expected to stay in the lab for the entire duration of the project.
Position: Senior Research Fellowship (One)
Duration: Temporary, co-terminus with the project
Salary: Rs. 35000/- plus HRA (as per SERB rules and guidelines for SRF)
Qualifications
Eligible candidates should have a Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Genetics / Plant Molecular Biology / Plant Pathology and must be CSIR / UGC/ICAR JRF or NET qualified with 2 years of post M Sc research experience. Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in the area of Epigenetics / DNA-protein interactions / protein-protein interaction / Host-virus interaction / any other areas of Plant Virology.
Project Duration
The project will continue till September 2026. The above-mentioned positions are completely temporary and are co-terminus with the project. Appointed
persons will be expected to stay in the lab for the entire period of the project.General Information
The competent authority may select candidates in lower positions based on qualifications and experience, and reserves the right to relax any of the qualifications if the candidate is found otherwise well qualified by the Selection Committee.
