Central Sericultural Research and Training Institute (CSR&TI), part of the Central Silk Board under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, is inviting applications for the position of YP-I (Young Professional) under the DUS (Distinctness, Uniformity, and Stability) project funded by the PPV & FRA (Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers’ Rights Authority).

Essential & desirable qualification: Candidates should have an M.Sc. in life sciences with specialization in Genetics & Plant Breeding, Plant Biotechnology, Plant Physiology, Sericulture, etc.
Emoluments: Rs. 25,000/- consolidated per month

Walk-In Interview Details:
- Date: 16th November 2023
- Time: 9:30 AM (Candidates should reach the venue by 9 AM for document verification)
- Venue: Central Sericultural Research and Training Institute, Manandawadi Road, Srirampura, Mysuru-570 008
Interested candidates should bring their bio-data, a passport-size photograph, original and photocopies of educational qualifications from SSLC, PUC, B.Sc., M.Sc., etc., proof of date of birth, experience certificate
with publication, caste certificate for SC/ST candidates, and valid e-mail ID and telephone/mobile numbers for contact details.Important Information:
- Upper age limit: 28 years as of 16th November 2023 (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Physically challenged and women candidates).
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- The position is purely temporary on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. Further claims for any position will not be entertained thereafter.
- Canvassing in any form will lead to the cancellation of candidature.
- The decision of the Director shall be final and binding in all respects.
- Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
