A walk-in interview will be held for the selection of one Junior Research Fellow for the research project titled “Commercial egg production technology for Ericulture” implemented at Central Muga Eri Research & Training Institute. The position is for a temporary basis and for the project duration.

Project Duration: Up to 31st January 2024, expected to be extended up to 31.03.2024
Stipend: Rs. 31,000/- with NET/GATE and Rs. 21,000/- for others, plus admissible HRA
Qualification: 1st Class M.Sc. in any branch of Life Science (preferably Sericulture/Zoology/Entomology) from a UGC-recognized University
Desirable Qualification: Candidates with specializations/working experiences in Silkworm seed production & rearing management/Insect Science will be preferred
Age Limit: 35 years (as on 31.10.2023)

Interested candidates may attend the walk-in interview to be held at the institute on 31st October 2023 (Tuesday) from 10.00 AM onwards. Age relaxation is applicable for a maximum period of 5 years in respect of
SC/ST/OBC, women, and physically challenged candidates as per the rules. Candidates must produce the original documents (mark sheets, certificates, publications, etc.) at the time of document verification/interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
