ICMR-National Institute for Research in Reproductive and Child Health (ICMR-NIRRCH) is a prestigious research institution under the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) located in Mumbai. ICMR-NIRRCH is dedicated to improving reproductive and child health through scientific research and innovation. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a project-based job opening.
Position: Project Assistant

Project Title: Delineating pathogenesis of obese and lean PCOS phenotype using integrated transcriptomics and proteomics approach”
Funded by: Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India
Project Tenure: 3 years (Initial Offer: 6 months with the possibility of extension based on performance)
Role and Responsibilities:
The Project Assistant will be responsible for supporting the research project by assisting with laboratory work, conducting experiments, and analyzing data. The project’s focus is on understanding the pathogenesis of obese and lean PCOS phenotype using integrated transcriptomics and proteomics approaches.
Qualifications:
- Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Zoology or any other relevant area of Biology
- Experience in molecular biology techniques, next generation sequencing / mass spectrometry, and bioinformatics tools is desirable.
Salary and Benefits:
Consolidated Salary: Rs. 25,400/- (including HRA at 27%) Other benefits as
per ICMR-NIRRCH rules and regulations.Age Limit: Candidates should be below 30 years of age.
