The school of environmental Science intends to hold a walk-in interview for the post of JRF under Dr. Ramovatar Meena on 30/10/23 at 11:00 am. Applicants are invited for the following temporary post in Science and Engineering Research Boardfunded project entitled “Pharmacological and therapeutic potential of bio-fabricated BSA-Cordyceps-Chitosan Nanoparticles in In-Vitro and In-vivo system” at the School of Environmental Sciences Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-110067.

The selected candidate will be appointed purely on temporary basis. Initially for one year that may be extended based on the performance. The fellowship/salary will be as per the sanction in the project.
Position: JRF (Post-1)
Essential Qualification:
- Candidate should possess a 1st class Master’s Degree in Environmental Science/Life Science/Biotechnology from a recognized university with GATE/NET qualification.
Desirable Qualification:
- Preference will be given to candidates who have prior experience working in a nanobiology lab.
- Practical knowledge of microbial and cell culture.
Job Description:
The selected candidate will be responsible for performing all assigned tasks related to the project. These tasks include conducting bench work, experiments, data acquisition and maintenance, and operating scientific equipment such as Microtome, Fluorescence microscopy, and Biochemistry autoanalyzer. The candidate will also participate in the preparation and coordination of work reports, purchase of items as per the latest GFR 2017/JNU rules, processing of bills, and record keeping.
