Advertisement for the post of a Student Intern at KIIT, Bhubaneswar

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the position of a Student Intern to work under Scientific Social Responsibility (SSR) scheme of a research project sponsored by DST-SERB Core Research Grant (CRG/2022/000513).

Title of the project: An ultrastructural study on the development of rice silica cells at micro- and nano-scale

Principal investigator: Dr Santosh Kumar, Assistant Professor, School of Biotechnology, KIIT

Broad area of research: Plant Science, Biomineralization

Duration of the internship: 2 months

Internship Amount: Rs 5000/-(consolidated) per month.

Essential Qualifications: Applicants must be enrolled in undergraduate engineering or
postgraduate science program of any recognized educational institute/university/college etc. Candidates currently not enrolled under undergraduate engineering or postgraduate science program of any recognized educational institute/university/college etc need not apply.

  • The Last date for submission of application is 30 September, 2023.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The selected candidate can join the internship as per his/her own timeline (for example between semester break, semester allotted for research work etc).

Note: The interview will be conducted in physical mode. Original documents must be produced at the time of the interview.

No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates to appear for the interview
