In the Department of Advanced Research, we are looking for an Intern. 

Type of contract: 6 – 9 months

Location:  Mumbai, India

As an Intern, your main responsibilities are : 

  • Work with teams to prepare drafts of publications for onboarding of medical writer and coordinate manuscript review between agency & teams
  •  Syntheses of scientific knowledge on innovation territories in order to prepare unbranded snackable scientific content
  •  Contribute to the coordination of external scientific communication events such as launches and conferences.

To succeed in this position, you have : 

  • Master’s degree in Life or Biological Sciences
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Background in science communication & engagement

  • Open mindset and flexible to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Good to have ;

  •  Digitally savvy

Answer: To create unbranded snackable scientific content, I would thoroughly research and analyze the latest scientific advancements in relevant fields. I would then condense the information into easily digestible formats such as infographics or short articles, keeping in mind the target audience’s interests and comprehension level.
  1. How would you coordinate manuscript review between the agency and teams to ensure smooth and efficient onboarding of medical writers? Answer: I would collaborate closely with both the agency and the teams involved to establish clear communication channels. I’d ensure that feedback and revisions are well-documented, and deadlines are clearly communicated to all parties involved. Regular check-ins and progress updates would be essential to keep everyone on track.
  1. In the context of scientific communication events, such as launches and conferences, how would you contribute to the coordination and ensure their success? Answer: I would play a pivotal role in coordinating external scientific communication events. This involves liaising with various stakeholders, including event organizers, speakers, and attendees, to ensure seamless planning and execution. Additionally, I would assist in creating engaging materials and presentations to enhance the overall impact of the events.
  1. How do you stay updated with the latest digital communication trends, and how can you leverage your digital savviness in scientific communication? Answer: I actively follow reputable sources in the digital communication space, attend webinars and workshops related to digital marketing and communication. I believe that leveraging digital tools and platforms can significantly expand the reach of scientific content. By utilizing social media, interactive content, and multimedia, we can engage a wider audience and make complex scientific information more accessible.
