Registration for online participation – International conclave on AMR and Future of Antibiotics
On Nov 08-09, 2023, the Department of Biological Sciences at SRM University – AP, Andhra Pradesh, is organizing an “International conclave on AMR and Future of Antibiotics” (hybrid: In-person and Online mode) together with The AMR Insights, The Netherlands, Infection Control Academy of India (ICFAI), Federation of Asian Biotech Associations (FABA) and NITTE (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru.
Several International delegates from Innovate UK, The Netherlands and several leading Indian Scientists are participating in this International Conclave (https://srmap.edu.in/icafa-2023/icafa-speakers/). This Conclave would be a great opportunity for the students and faculty members to listen and interact with the expert scientists.
Now the conference website is open for registration for online participation. Online participants will receive an e-certificate.

International Conclave on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and the Future of Antibiotics
(ICAFA-2023) on November 8 th to 9 th , 2023 at the SRM University – AP campus.
ICAFA-2023 is a two-day event focused on discussing the AMR issue, covering
various aspects such as AMR in a One Health context, AMR surveillance, Genomics &
Diagnostics, Pathogen strategies, Next Generation Antimicrobials, and Emerging
alternatives to antibiotics. These conferences serve as a vital platform for knowledge
sharing, fostering collaborations, and devising strategies to counteract the escalating threat
of antibiotic resistance. They play a pivotal role in raising awareness and mobilizing action
to tackle this global health challenge.
INVITATION FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION:
The ICAFA-2023 organising committee invites all interested individuals to submit a
scientific abstract for poster presentation and oral presentation related to the following
themes:
Thematic areas
- Antimicrobial resistance (AMR)
- AMR in One Health World
- AMR surveillance, Genomics & Diagnostics
- Next Generation Antimicrobials
- Emerging Alternative to antibiotics
Abstracts from Faculty members will be considered for oral presentations. MSc and PhD
students, Postdocs can submit Abstract for Oral or Poster presentation. Only original research work is accepted.
Importantly, the student’s poster/oral presentations will be reviewed by an expert panel and cash prizes of Rs. 5000/-, Rs. 3000/- and Rs. 2000/- will be awarded to the first, second and third place winners, respectively.
