Job Description

Department: Production Operations
Supervisor: Vikash Jha
Job Family Description: Provides support to improve and maintain performance, efficiency, and quality of manufacturing operations.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing methods, techniques, processes, subassemblies, and final products.
- Compliance with company standards, ISO, and GMP as required.
- Responsible for meeting the daily targets for production.
Boundary Conditions/Authority Levels: Receives minimum instruction on routine work; general instructions on new assignments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete all trainings on time and use training experience to complete activities in creative and efficient ways.
- Perform Antibody-Dye conjugation.
- Daily production activities like buffer preparation, Kitting, material transactions, and RM inventory management.
- Perform purification using different types of column chromatography techniques based on the current process.
- Responsible for meeting OTD and FPY.
- Meet regulatory requirements and follow policies and procedures.
- Report out daily activities.
- Receive minimal supervision.
- Support equipment maintenance and report any equipment breakdown to have minimal impact on process cycle time.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and flexibility needed to achieve results and suggest improvements using DBS tools.
- Responsible for following all company guidelines related to Health, Safety, and Environmental practices and ensuring all resources needed are available and in good condition.
- Maintain scientific and industry awareness by reviewing literature.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- M.Sc./B.Tech in Biotechnology/Biochemistry or related discipline with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and resourceful.
- Ability to work in a team environment and excellent communication skills.
