In this key customer facing role, the Application Center Manager will present and discuss systems and/or equipment setups specific to customers visiting the Sartorius Application Center in Bangalore but also remotely using different streaming technologies. Together with Sales Account Managers, Application Specialists, and other subject matter experts, will discuss with customers how Sartorius solutions can accelerate and fit into their processes.
What you will accomplish together with us:
- Design, coordination and delivery of project-specific consultation for customers and visitors from different areas (research, process development, drug manufacturing); including requests for internal staff members (from Sales, Marketing and others)
- Proactively engage with the regional sales team to support high potential sales project | customer activities effectively to win business, (e.g. evaluation of sales potential and efforts spent, qualification of projects with regards to customers’ current drug pipeline, cooperation and alliances with Sartorius locally | globally)
- Efficient project management of all activities in the Application Center including stakeholder management, coordination of internal resources, resource management and planning, monitoring and reporting of activities
- Enables customers to operate and experience suitable Sartorius solutions according to their specific process including detailed consultation, focusing on single-use bioprocessing (from molecule development to large scale production) and show of the newest Sartorius equipment
- Design and delivery of training events | hands-on demonstration (face-to-face, virtual) on customer’s application and processes, implementing new technologies like AR/VR to introduce the Sartorius product line exhibit at the Application Center
- Creating a trustful, supportive and collaborative atmosphere for our customers
What will convince us:
- Bachelor/master’s degree in Life Sciences/Engineering or Technical Science/Technological degree
- 5 – 10 years’ work experience in the biopharmaceutical or biotech industry, ideal experience with single-use technologies in upstream and downstream processing, preferably respective technology areas of Sartorius; extensive, proven work experience in lab management a plus
- Knowledge on how to discover, develop and produce biopharmaceuticals from customers’ perspective
- Open-minded personality with can-do and entrepreneurial mindset; proven communication, presentation and cooperation skills in interdisciplinary/intercultural teams, ability to explain complex topics efficiently to all levels; fast learner of new concepts and technology
- Proven capabilities of project management with strong ability to organize and prioritize tasks in parallel projects, ability to analyze and solve problems, capability to engage internal network
- Autonomous, independent and structured working style; team and customer service-oriented attitude
- Self-motivated professional with creative thinking and basic sales and marketing skills preferred
- Global mindset with openness to and awareness of diversity across cultures and markets while working with global functions
- Professional fluency in the writing and speaking of the English language
- Experience in Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Share Point, Data Analysis, affinity to digital communication and collaboration tools
- Regional travelling whenever needed
