Welcome to IISER Mohali, a premier institute for scientific education and research. We are pleased to announce walk-in interviews for our PhD program in Biology.

Position: PhD Program in Biology

• Interview Dates: 11th to 13th December, 2023
• Reporting Time for Registration: 8:00 AM onward on December 11th, 2023
• Venue: Academic Building-I, IISER Mohali

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who have cleared a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) exam conducted by CSIR-UGC, DBT, or ICMR and are eligible to receive fellowship will be allowed to participate in the interview. Candidates who have cleared their MS/MSc/BTech/MBBS in 2021, 2022, or 2023 with 60% marks or an equivalent examination are eligible to attend the walk-in interview.

Required Documents:

While coming for the interview, please bring both the original and one self-attested photocopy of the following documents:

1. Award letter from the funding agency
2. Date of Birth (DOB) certificate
3. All the original mark sheets/grade transcripts and certificates starting from class 10th, for verification
4. Copies of mark/grade sheets (required for all semesters/years)
5. Original Government Photo ID and certificate of SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PD/EWS, if applicable
6. Recent passport size photographs (2 Nos.)

Please note that the original certificates will be returned to you immediately after verification. One self-attested photocopy of each of the above-mentioned documents will be retained by the admission committee. The reservation rules will be as per existing GoI guidelines.

• The candidates are advised to come prepared to stay for three days on their own expenses in Mohali.
