IIT Delhi PhD Admission 2023-2024 in Computational Biology, Apply Online

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who have qualified for UGC/CSIR JRF, DST INSPIRE, DBT Fellowship, and fresh B.Tech. graduates with research aptitude are encouraged to apply. Admission Categories:
- Regular Ph.D.: Candidates not holding regular work/employment and solely focused on their academic program.
- Sponsored Ph.D.: Working professionals can pursue a Ph.D. degree while remaining employed at the sponsoring organization. Click [here](link-to-original-notification) for more details.
Financial Support:
Students joining the Ph.D. program as regular students are considered for Institute Fellowship. The fellowship rate is Rs. 35,000/- per month until successfully completing the comprehensive exam and Rs
. 37,000/- per month after completing the comprehensive exam until the completion of the fifth year.Additional Financial Support
- Support upto Rs 50k is provided towards purchase of laptop/ desktop.
- Contingency grant of 20000 per year.
Institute Travel Grant
Full time Ph.D. students are encouraged to present their research work at International Conferences. Financial support of up to Rs. 2L for the entire duration of the program is available.
Overseas Research Fellowship (ORF)
Support upto US $12000 may be considered in deserving cases to conduct research collaborations with reputed Universities/Labs abroad for a period of 3 to 6 months.
Admission Procedure:
- Rolling Admissions: Candidates who have identified their area of interest can interact with the concerned faculty member(s) at IIIT-Delhi and seek their consent before applying. - Regular Admissions: Takes place twice a year during February-April (for Monsoon Session) and September-November (for Winter Session).
Application Procedure:
- Candidates can apply only through the online application portal. There is no provision for offline submission of application forms.
- If you are applying for more than one discipline, please submit a separate application for each discipline.
- After successful submission of the application form, you will receive an application number and a link to download the application form. Please save the application form. You need to furnish hardcopy of the application form and self-attested copies of all the relevant documents at the time of interview.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected.
- The application fee for Ph.D. program is as follow:
Rs.150/- : For SC/ST/ PD candidates
Rs.300/- : For other candidates - Apply Online.

- The Institute reserves the right to call or not to call eligible candidates for the admission process.
