Applications are invited to fill one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) post vacancy under the Scheme for Transformational & Advanced Research in Sciences (STARS)-Ministry of Education, Project.
Project Details
Title: “Wheat metallome analysis and development of mineral micronutrient-related gene-specific molecular markers for biofortification programs”
Principal Investigator: Dr. Shailender Kumar Verma
Position Details
Position: Junior Research Fellow
Salary: Rs 31000/- per month + HRA as per rules
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Environmental Studies or any branch of Biological/Life Sciences with at least 55% marks. The candidate must have a qualified NET/GATE or equivalent national-level examination.
Desirable: Prior experience working on plants and hands-on experience in biochemistry/bioinformatics/molecular biology techniques.
Duration and Salary
Duration: One year and extendable up to the project tenure based on performance, assessment, and availability of grant.
Salary: Rs 31000/- per month + HRA as per rules.
